At the Dog Park

I hope you are having a fun weekend like I am.

Today I went to the Dog Park with Mommy and Daddy. It was such fun. I got to wear my new blue harness, and get some exercise on the bars. I like doing chin ups. Builds strong muscles in my arms. Mommy was there to catch me in case I slipped as the bars are so high off the ground.

I also saw my friend Daisy there, playing in the water on the beach. She was having such a good time with other puppy friends, but I did not go in as the water is still a little chilly for me, and looked soooo wet!!!

Car Rides

Hi 'Reese's Fans!!

Do you like car rides? I do. Such fun, even sometimes going to Granny's House!

Here are some tips for taking puppies on a car ride:

Some dogs happily jump into the car the minute the door or hatchback opens, while others -- perhaps with visions of vet visits dancing in their furry heads -- immediately tug at their leashes when you get within 10 yards of your car. If your puppy dreads car trips, help him be a more relaxed traveler.

• Well before a long ride, take him for a few short trips to fun places like the beach or the local dog park. He'll begin to connect car rides with fun, not trips to the kennel or vet.
• Spray a flannel cloth with lavender oil and put it in the car. The scent is as calming for dogs as it is for people. In one study, when dogs were surrounded by the scent, they barked less and moved around less during car rides.
• Secure the dog to the backseat (never the front, if you have airbags) using a harness, or confine him to a crate. Either will keep him from becoming a missile if you must stop suddenly and will prevent injury if airbags deploy in an accident.
• Talk to him during the car ride, take walking and stretching breaks often, and offer him water and treats or light snacks.

Visit to Grannies House

Hi 'Reese's Fans!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I certainly did. My Mommy took me and my brothers to visit my Granny and good friend Cody Cat.

It was soo good to see Granny again, and Kaleal, Haley and Donovan. I also got to see my big sister Krystal. Lots of people came to see me, Uncle Bernie and Sharon, Auntie Van, Aunty Dee and neighbors galore.

I had so much fun, running around with Haley, Kaleal and Donovan, hanging out with Grandma and running and playing chase with Cody.

My cousin Erington graduated from High School, and is off to college this Summer. Lots of new and exciting things to see and sniff for Erington.

I had so much fun that I slept most of the way home.

It was so nice to get home, have a long drink of water and say Hi to Daddy. I even got to nap on Mommy and Daddy's bed with them for a while too.

I have been catching up with my naps today, inbetween my patrols. Long walk with Daddy tonite, lots of stories to tell my friends.

My nephew Kaleal now can read my blog every day. Don't forget to e-mail me soon Kaleal!!!

Saturday was Puppy Love Birthday Club Member MollyBears birthday. Happy Birthday MollyBear. I hope you like the surprise I sent you from Puppy Love!

Mothers day

Hi 'Reeses Fans!!

Today is Mommies Day. I hope you all did something nice for your Mommy!!

I got my Mommy a card and box of her favorite chocolate candies, and I also took Mommy to breakfast at the Marina. Daddy drove us as I am still too short to reach the pedals, and used his card as the Marina do not take the Cookie Card yet, and that is the only credit card I have right now.....

We had a wonderful time sitting by the water, and Mommy looked so cute next to me!!

When we got home, Daddy made Mommy Bucks Fizz with some of the "widow" and that made Mommy extra happy.

We also "Skyped" with my cousin Emma in England, and her Daddy.

Today is Angels' Birthday, and he is in my Puppy Love Birthday Club, and got a surprise gift from me and Puppy Love!

I am such the good looking puppy this week!!

Yesterday I went to my favorite Spa, Pet Splash in Lighthouse Point. My personal spa consultant "Lou" always gives me that special treatment that superstars need! :-)

I have added a picture of me and Lou for you to see!!

I had my special "Tyreese" cut, bath, groomings, nail treatments, you know the Whole Works! I enjoyed my time there, except the bath of course!, and am now ready for some more modelling for Puppy Love at Color of Love Studios.

My Puppy Love Birthday Club is starting to get more members, and this month Angel and MollyBear will be getting a birthday surpise from me!!!
