Wilma Has Gone

Just a quick note as we are without power after Wilma.

Daddy and Mommy have a generator, so I can get a short note out to you all.

FPL are in the city and working on the power, so we all hope we will have power sometime this week.

We have refridgerators, Internet, TV and lights, and the gas grill gives us hot water and hot food, so we are doing very well considering. The hardest thing is the shortage of gas, and having to wait in line for hours, (Daddy and Cedric have both waited over 7 hours in line to get gas for the generator early last week)

Things are getting better, and I will write again soon

Wilma Arrives

Well, I had a busy day today. I helped Daddy, Mommy & Cedric clear off the the patio and put up hurricane shutters. It took a long time, and I ran around soooo much, I was too tired to go on a long walk.

I was so busy helping, that I am extra sleepy tonight, but I am staying close to Mommy and Daddy in case they get scared of the storm. I may sleep with them tonite so they feel safe.

So far, the power has stayed on, but the weather people think the storm may be a category 3 when it arrives on the west coast near Naples, and we don't know how strong it will be when it gets here.

I will let you know what happens after the storm has passed us

Hurricane Wilma

Can you believe it, another Hurricane coming to Florida. I am helping Daddy with the shutters, and putting everything inside.

We all watch the TV to see where the storm is going.

Last night it rained so heavy it woke me and Daddy up!

I have been trying to show Mommy and Daddy everything is OK, but Mommy won't let me sit on the sofa with them. Mommy even sat in my chair! I guess it made her feel safe knowing I usually sit there!

We are all watching Thelma and Louise tonite, and I am keeping Mommy and Daddy company. They feel better when I am close to them.

My Friend Jenny

Mommy and Daddys friends Jenny and Derek have been visiting from a place called England this week. I think England must be a cold and dark place as Jenny and Derek just LOVED swimming in the pool.... Brrrr, did you know that water is WET!

I made sure Jenny was always safe by checking in on here when she was napping outside by the pool. I decided it was best to sleep on Jennys lap in case she fell into the pool and got cold and wet!

Hi 'Reese's fans! Today I went to the "Yelping Yorkie" for a beauty treatment. I had a good time, and I look so good with my new cut, and yellow bandana!

I had a car ride to the Yelping Yorkie Salon, and I rode Shot Gun as I always do to protect Daddy!
